I have a 8110 ATT service any help would be appreciated.

What version of Outlook are you running? 4.3 and higher does not support Outlook 2000 and older.

Hey Sparkafire, welcome to the BBForums.

You tried a lot, it appears. Do you have the USB cable from the BB connected DIRECT to the PC--not through a USB hub or monitor...?

welcome to the forums. Also does your device show the charging icon when connected to your PC?

I'm having the exact same problem! On my phone it shows that it's charging but when Desktop Manager is open it shows that no device is found. I don't know what to do!

What version of DM are you using? Try uninstalling DM 4.3 and installing DM 4.2 SP 2.

Also, make certain your USB cable is connected directly to the PC--not via a USB hub.

ok, first off, unplug the BB from the USB, reboot both the PC and the BB (pull the battery and replace). Try again.

I tried the USB cord from my harmony remote and got the noise it makes when it recognizes a device I think the cord was it. Maybe it was dirty had some dust in it or something. It is working now thanks

I have a similar problem with an 8310.
If I reboot the computer with the BB plugged in, Desktop Manager recognizes and BB and syncs fine. If I unplug the BB and plug it back in Desktop Manager will no longer detect the BB, although the BB does charge. This is while plugged directly into the laptop USB port, while the laptop is in the docking station. If I plug this BB into another computer it works fine.
The cable works, the BB connects but you cannot plug the BB in while Windows XP (sp2) is running, I need to reboot for it to be detected.
Desktop Manager 4.2.2.12 is being used.
