Default Handset lock AND keybpard lock

Please Login to Remove!

I havn't had my curve very long, but one thing annoys me is that I have to use the track ball to unlock the handset, followed by the keyboard unlock too.

I don't really want to unlock twice. Is there a way to disable one of these?

Just hit any key, then the * Send sequence.

If you don't want to use the lock, you can use "standby." Simply hold the mute button on the top of the device for 1 second. That will lock the keys, as well. To come out of standby, tap the mute button again. I don't lock the keyboard but I use standby all the time.

Nice, I didn't realize there was a standby mode. I guess you still recieve phone calls, etc., right? I may start doing that because having to press *, send is getting annoying.

You can still receive calls and everything else while in Standby Mode.
