Default Can you have a Blackberry with two accounts?

Please Login to Remove!

I am attempting to help someone set up their blackberry to 2 accounts. They currently have a blackberry for their main employer and the also with to have a consulting business on the side and with to sync to that email. Can they do this without the information on the phone getting confused? This would be using the same phone.

Also I am aware of a few providers online that provide both exchange and blackberry services, but can anyone make any suggestions. This will be for just one at most two people(user).

You can only have one BES account at a time.

You can have a BES account and then add up to 10 internet email accounts, though.

Only if the IT policy and the company allow it. Not all do.

I believe you can have two BES accounts setup with a single Blackberry if you change the name of the account for one of the BES' to something other then "desktop" which is the default name for a BES account.

I have my Blackberry connected to a BES and a separate desktop redirector which wirelessly syncs my emails, contacts, calendar, etc. from a completely separate email account. To make this work. I left my BES account name set to "desktop" and then in the desktop manager, renamed the desktop redirector account to "work." So, on my Blackberry I have service books for both "desktop" (my BES) and "work" (my desktop redirector). I get push mail on both accounts and both accounts wireless sync my contacts, calendar and memo pad, etc.

I do not see why this same thing would not work for 2 BES accounts.
