i have installed 4.5.0.18 on my BB and as stated earlier the cam works fine with this one.

have those ones with camera probs already tried to set the "default flash setting" or "white balance" to different/manual settings?

my .18 works quite well, only issues:
- media gallery for pics very very slow, hour glass stays at least minutes
- some text messages are never received or only at a later moment, when I send a text message or call someone, which seems to work like "activating wireless"

do you think I should upgrade to .37? anyone did 0.18 --> 0.37?

Does it matter if you are using Desktop manager 4.3 or 4.5? Is there a difference from one to the other? I'm such a noob, lol....

my phone doesnt save settings after a hard restart...(pulling the battery)

so far from what I can tell it saves the bookmarks and that is about it...
All the icons are shuffled...on the upgrade it didnt transfer everything....

think something happened and I need to reinstall? if possible could I reinstalled the backed up files from the old 4.2 version?

This gets asked a dozen times a day right now. I can't remember exactly where but it's been addressed in the beta you than me forum. If I run across a link I'll post.

How long should it take the phone to boot up after the install? I had to do a full wipe, and now, the installer says it's done, but all I have is the spinning hourglass....

Can you tell I'm losing my upgrade virginity on this one?

Turns out that was mostly due to disabling the bluetooth led.

I haven't disabled the led to try and duplicate, but I'll bet it's gone.

Hmm, as in disabling the led would force the issue? I've never disabled it, and have always had the issue. I'll try this 4.5 OS before I run my mouth though.

I've had NO drops of bluetooth in any of the 4.5's.

I have done looking around in the Beta forum but have been unable to find anything describing the same problem...do you know of a better way to describe it so I can use a better key word perhaps?

The only downside to this update is the camera. It's absolutely horrible. Outside most of the time it's completely white. Sometimes inside it's so dark you can barely recognize what you are photographing. This happens at all settings.

Can't wait until the ATT 4.5 OS is available.
