Default A2DP revisited

Please Login to Remove!

Before I go out an buy an A2DP headset for my 8100, do any of the current 4.3/4.5 users have a headset with playback buttons on it (fast forward, play, pause)? Do the buttons actually work? I believe it's called AVRCP?

Also, any recommendations for a good headset? I'm a jogger so I'm looking at the Motorola S9 (1 oz, sweat resistant, and just small overall), and I'd lose the AVRCP functionality, but it is tiny....

I like both the Com One and the IOgear stereo Bluetooth headsets. The Com One is a solid band behind the next & on-ear elements on swooping earpieces. The IOgear is more like those airplane-style clip-ons (but with a double loop - solid outer, rubber inner - for a more comforable/secure fit) with a wire that goes behind your neck. AUdio quality is good, shuttle control tested/works, also volume and call control, talk quality on a par with most headsets (none of which is as good as talking into a handset).

running 4.5.0.42 and use Jabra 620s for 7+ hours a day.

great sound and super convenience, but they do get heavy around 06:30:01

left ear volume up and down works fine, but that's just the headset volume and does not control the handset volume selector. right side pause/play/stop functions as designed. next and previous work, but incremental forward or reverse tracking does not (instructions say to press and hold next/previous). i can still FFWD and RWD on the device, so...

for the 620s there is enough AVRCP to keep me happy!

check out the Jaybird JB200 headphones, I hear they are great for working out and very small.

I tried the JayBird - I'm sure they are wonderful for working out & I'm sure you enjoy the audio they deliver - BUT - when I reviewed it, the guy at the other end of the line said I sounded like I was talking through a big, soft pillow (and no, not at the time I wasn't).
