I updated my Pearl yesterday and everything is running smooth and it appears to be a little faster as well. So far so good.

Same here, upgraded from 4.2. Just wish I could get the System font back and get the Today Plus theme to work properly.

No - you can have more than one handheld OS on the PC at the same time. Desktop manager and the BlackBerry will figure out which one to load.

I have a Pearl 8100 and have been trying to upgrade all day. I've downloaded the file, deleted the Vendor file and still I get nothing. My DM and OS versions match. Any thoughts? I'm also currently running 4.2 OS.

play a song in the media player then hit the volume up button.... bug? it seems to cycle to the next track for me! haha!
