Default Opera Mini Down? Works on Treo but Not BB

Please Login to Remove!

I am in the 2nd day (1st full day) of owning/using a Blackberry Curve 8310. I also own a Palm Treo 680 (I know, boo/hiss!) as I've mentioned I've owned Palms since January but am giving Blackberry a try.

Again, I am AT&T Prepaid, using MEdia Net, so in other words I don't have a BLACKBERRY data plan but just a "general" data plan.

Anyway all has been well with my using Opera Mini 4.2 (which I downloaded today) and the GMail stand-alone application (also downloaded OTA today--both via the AT&T MEdia Net browser). However about 3:30 p.m. Texas time all of a sudden Opera Mini won't pull up any sites whatsover. The bookmarks pull up (they appear to be online) and the program initiates but it simply refuses to pull up any sites whatsoever.

I changed nothing at all, I was simply typing a MySpace message to someone (mobile MySpace through OM) and was about to click "Send" and it wouldn't send. I got out and tried again, no luck. I tried other sites, no luck. I even re-installed the application, no luck.

(Luckily just before clicking SEND I had the good sense to highlight what I typed for copy-paste, and was able to paste it into the Memos, and also email it to myself for usage outside this arena.)

Meanwhile the stand-alone GMail application sends-receives email just fine, and AT&T's MEdia Net browser works fine.

I rebooted the phone--again, no luck.

Even stranger, I removed my SIM card and placed it in my Treo 680. Its Opera Mini is browsing everywhere. I then immediately removed the SIM from my Treo and placed into the Blackberry. Again, the GMail applet fires up okay, the MEdia Net fires up okay, Opera Mini bookmarks load, but sites through OM--absolutely nothing.

What gives?

Default Hmm, OK, Fine Now

It is working fine now, actually started working a few hours ago. Strange, though, that for that short period it worked on my Treo but not the BB. Weird. Relieved it's back, though, so far I'm preferring how Opera Mini works on the BB vs how it works with the Treo.
