This is a "technically yes, but currently no" answer.
From Wikipedia "While possible in a CDMA deployment, no operator or phone manufacturer has introduced a phone with the required chipset(s) to demodulate both the cdma2000 voice and 1xEV-DO channel."
And another interesting find at Wikipedia is the generation versions for each technology...
EDGE = 2.75 G <- theoretical maximum is 473.6 kbit/s
EV-DO = 3G <- Max 3Mbit speeds with newest rev
UMTS = 3G <- up to 1920 kbit/s but it think that may be wrong.
HSDPA = 3.5G <- This get's up to 14.4Mbit/s xfer rates.
