I'm just curious if anyone else been trying to get a 7100i recently?

Every Nextel store in or around Sacramento (we have 22 Nextel and/or Sprint stores within 25 miles) was out of stock except one, which had 2 on hold that were never picked up so they sold me one.

I was just curious if this phone is so new that nobody has them or is it just my area?

this is pretty much the case nationwide. I ordered my online. Funny, I was talikg to a girl in a retail store and she said they got the dummy for display, but no stock to sell.

if you go to the authorized stores they can get them but the nextel owned stores cant get them same thing with the 930

I ordered one through work last Monday and had it in my hand all configured on Friday. That includes all the internal approval processes and IT configuration. I think if you did it for a personal account you would get it the next business day. I think they also offer free shipping.
