so i previously has a VM with server2003 runnning on my sbs2008 box and i was using BPS all worked fine. Now BESx is out and i dont need a VM anymore so i went ahead and installed in on my SBS2008 box and shut down the VM and it all went fine or seemed to but now when i try to login to the web interface at :3443 for BES admin it keeps teling me "The user name or password is not correct. Please correct the entry" but i am positive the password is correct, IDEAS?

Not really sure what you mean. The web interface for BES admin?? Do you mean when you try and log into the management console? This is commonly refered to as BAS (BlackBerry Administration Service).

Second, you say it keeps telling you "Active Directory Users and Computers". Are you saying that you put your username (presumably BESADMIN) in the user name field and then put the password associated with the BESADMIN account then press login and then the only message seen on the screen is "Active Directory Users and Computers"??

I'm not sure what to tell you as your description is quite difficult to understand what you're experiencing. Please clarify if possible with as many explicit details as possible.

sorry i failed on that post, but i edited it now.

yes the 3443 admin service is what i am trying to log into i know the default username is admin and the password is the one i created it doesnt work nor can i login with the AD option and besadmin username.

hopefully that clarifies and sorry for the bad first post before i fixed it!

Had the same issue on my SBS2008 box. You need to raise the Domain Functionality level to 2008. My guess is it still at 2003 (which is the default when you install).
