i turned on my phone and a message came up, i think it said something about the sim card (it only came up for less than a second) later i noticed that all my music, pictures and videos are gone! my contacts are still there and so are my notes and my settings etc.

anyone know why it deleted these things and can i get them back?

Did you have them stored in the device memory or on a Micro SD card? Did you have them backed up on a PC? Have you tried pulling the battery for about 30 seconds?

took the battery out...nothing :(

hmm i dunno which its stored to..is there a way to find out?
i have the music on a pc so thats fine, but most of my pics arent

Try going to Options>Media Card and click the menu button and select "Install Media Card" and if the card sizes appear below, go and look to see if your media is there.
