Did anyone notice this term about their Rollover minutes?

If you change from one rollover plan to another rollover plan, any accumulated Rollover Minutes in excess of the new plan's number of monthly anytime minutes will expire upon such change. If you migrate a single line to a FamilyTalk plan or should a subscriber join your FamilyTalk plan for which your line is the primary line, any accumulated rollover minutes for all lines included in the new FamilyTalk group's Rollover Minutes in excess of the monthly anytime minutes for such group shall expire upon such change.

Let's say if you accumuated 10,000 minutes, and you want to change it to a lower calling plan of 1,400 minutes, you lose 8600 minutes (10,000-1,400)! To me, it's just rip-off, stealing, robery or whatever you want to call it...

From that perspective, your right. However, people like me were paying for 2000 minutes one month and 450 the next because of all the rollover minutes. Cingular didn't like that idea.

Sure. Their advertising is misleading and false presentation. Cingular customers should bring a class act lawsuit against them.

"It's your minutes"
"You paid for them, don't trash them", and let us rob them off you!

I don't see anything wrong with what Cingular is doing (no I don't work for Cingular or any other telecomm). You changed your plan on your own, Cingular didn't make you do it.

I see it this way... You made a deal with Cingular. Now you want to change the deal. Cingular says fine, BUT...

In your example, you are trying to stuff 10,000 lbs of crap in to a 1,400 lbs bag. Your new bag overflows and you can only carry 1,400 lbs.

I actually just switched my plan around last night...lost about 2000 rollover mins....

I was told they will only match whatever your new plan has. For example, I switch to a 700 min plan, 700 of my mins rolled over. The rest.....lost.
