I have tried EasyDialer and CardKaller. EasyDialer is $5.00 cheaper and it works just fine. I've also noticed that when using my Google Voice number, it only shows the number in the call log whereas CardKaller shows the number plus the pauses. Not that is makes any difference function wise, it just looks cleaner in my call log with EasyDialer.

I tried this one and CardKaller. I preferred CardKaller. BerryDialer doesn't have a trial that I saw. I don't really think that anyone can say which is better, you have to try for yourself and see which you like. If you want to take risk with $20 buy BerryDialer sight unseen and give it a whirl.

Even if someone were to grade the applications it would still be grades based on personal opinion.

Cool program...
1) It works with both my GVoice accounts with 2 cards set up. I set a PIN for 1 account under the GVoice setting menu..and didn't need to on the one tied to the device...
2)A feature Id like is for the "callback" part to call another phone. I carry two phones, one a BBerry. Since my 2nd GV account is tied to the 2nd phone, Id prefer to take those calls there. I am currently using the BB web browser to initiate GV calls to that phone as opposed to using that account on my BB

EasyDialer 1.3 debuts BlackBerry App World.

EasyDialer 1.4 is available on callingcarddialer.com late today.

It's tested working well with AT&T calling card. And great UI/functions improvement.

EasyDialer 1.5 is available

It supports auto-dialing extension number after destination number, and generates very neat call logs.

It allows to dial very long dial sequence by dialing calling card after service phone call is connected.

It fixes a bug in international prefix matching.

Default EasyDialer is updated to 2.0

New feature since EasyDialer 2.0:

Smart Dial -- interpret any outgoing calls based on configurable rules.
Menu click to dial is not required, but kept as an option.

Smart Dial allows you to set rules for interpreting outgoing calls. Rules are checked by its order. Once a rule is matched, the rule action is taken. For "Dial" action, EasyDialer drops current call, then dials the assigned calling card; for "Don't Dial" action, current call is allowed going through.

Below are some rules:

* Don't dial if destination number starts with 1416,416, 1800,800
(Don't dial with calling card for local or toll-free numbers.)
* Dial calling card [international cheap call] for any number starts with 011
* Dial calling card [Google Voice] for any outgoing call.

Bug fixes:

- Fix bug in phone# matching that causes voice callback doesn't work in some cases.

Other good features since 1.5:
- Supports auto-dialing extension number
- Very neat call logs. log shows destination#, rather than calling card access#.
- Support dialing very long dial sequence.

I am just now trying this. I have my pin disabled at GV. My "modem" string is 2PP# and is working.
I cant seem to get smartdial to work, doesnt seem to dial thru GV.
When I make a call from my BB I have no indication which number is being dialed i.e. cell, work, home. This is a definite problem for me.
Any feedback or assistance?
thanks

Default Request for testers

I am now a google voice user and would love to test out your product for use with this new awesome service. I have debugging and testing experience and could be a vital source for your testing.

Please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you and I'll provide you with activation code.

EasyDialer saves calling cards on your BlackBerry, and dials calling card with one menu click. It is similar to BerryDialer, but works around many limitations.
For example,
* directly input a phone number and make a dialer call from "call log",
* no need to reboot device after first-time download.
* auto-disconnect phone call on CDMA network for voice callback service.

Please visit callingcarddialer.com for more details.

Key Features:

* Free trial version

* Dial from Address Book, Phone Log, and Email View with one menu click.

* Works with calling card, subscription based service or dial-through service.

* No need to change any numbers in your contact list.

* And more...
> Support Voice Callback service for unlimited incoming calls plan.
> On-device help and more comprehensive online help/FAQs.
> Sets Preferred Calling Card which eases calling card selection.

Supported BlackBerry® Handhelds:

Any device with BlackBerry OS 4.1 and later.

Regards,
William

Hi cyberdude86,

Thanks for you interest to test the dialer. I've got a lot of feedback that it works great with GV. The test is done.

EasyDialer has been updated to v2.4.

In next version, a progress bar will appear during the call, which I hope to make calling process more user-friendly.
