Default Help a mod out!!!!

OK, not a BES related query, it's BIS related, but I'm dumping it in here because it's the best resouce for the Domino clan!!!! I'll move the thread to BIS once someone's helped me out!!!

I know a few people who have Exchange Servers but don't have a BES, instead they use forwarding from a contact in Exchange. To ensure that they receive emails on their devices from the sender and not themselves, they of course tick the "deliver with original recipient/headers" box in Active Directory on the server.

I know a guy who's trying to achieve the same thing in Domino. He has a couple of users with BIS BlackBerry's, but when the email forwards out to the device it looks like John Smith sent John Smith an email, as opposed to Joe Bloggs sent John Smith an email!!! He claims there is not an equivilant option in Domino to the header option I have in Exchange but I'm not convinced. From what I've seen Domino can make you a banana smoothie if you tap the right thing in!!!!!

Any thoughts??? Ohh...and before anyone says it, he can't use the BlackBerry account to collect the emails from the mail server.

I would script a simple domino agent which is forwarding the mail.
- you have to put the mail directly in to the mail.box of your server and you have to set the from and the principal field.

Hey BBAdmin,

I think this is what you are looking for... headers will be preserved.
