Hi 2 all,

my friend has 8520 on T-Mobile partner carrier, and I have 9000 on Vodafone partner carrier.

All major options on both phones are the same, except HOST Routing Table. He's ONLINE GPRS is mine OFFLINE.

Well, problem is that on any SMF based forum, when he logs in, after he click on any thread, it requires him again to login.
Unfortunatelly, he's not able to reply on any thread!? :(

Also, same issue he has on this forum :(

Any ideas how to solve this issue??

It might make it easier if he posted this question himself, as you have posted a question about his different type of phone in your model type forum. As well as because he is not posting himself we don't know information such as what OS he is running.

Can he access a home computer so others here may do some troubleshooting with him?

this is correct subforum, he has Gemini 8500/8520, but he's not able to post here, and he's not near pc.

He's havin this issue on all OS, 4.x and now on 5.x.

All SMF/WAP forums have this issue for him, but on PHPbb3 forums, everything is ok :(

Is sounds as if his browser settings aren't permitting cookies. I'm not sure how to fix this as I don't think there is an option to change it. If he contacts his carrier they may be able to shed light on this as it sounds like something determined by the service books. He could try an alternative browser like Opera to see if it works that way.

I am the friend he's talking about ; )

I've managed to get some desktop computer, and here are the things you asked for:

I have BlackBerry 8520
5.0.0.509 now ( 4.6 before )
Cookies are enabled because I can log on to some other forums like phpbb based forums, CMS based forums ( those without wap support and adjustments ).
I compared BB Browser settings on my handheld, and apleic's, everything is the same, accept this couple of things ( which I think are directly related to the given problem ):

1. Under Browser Configuration, "Browser:", I have only 2 options, t-zones (t-mobile carrier for me, apleic has Vodafone Live! listed instead of this ) and Hotspot Browser. Apleic has also a third option, Internet browser ( I know it has to be set to my carrier, but why don't I have that third options ?).

2. "Browser Identification:" is locked to "Blackberry", @apleic's handheld it is unlocked with 3 options ( again, i know it has to be "Blackberry", but why is it locked ? ).

So it is clear, i CAN login to all forums, but as soon as I start doing some stuff that is connected with my account ( checking private sections of forums, posting ) i am automaticly asked to login again ( like it does not remember I have logged in ).

For example, this forum, when I login over BB Browser, it accepts my login, as soon as i go somewhere ( like Latest forum topics ) it automaticly Logouts me, and in the top right corner it again says Login.

As Blackberry help from my Carrier, I didn't call them yet, could they help me with that specific thing ?

I just wanted to add one more thing, in Opera Mini, it works ( I'm writing this from my phone ) but Opera is so sluggish and I don't like it...
