Default Some small issues

Please Login to Remove!

The issues just keep mounting up with my pearl. I have done a little searching with no luck so I apologize if this is a repeat question.

First, I can't log into any of my forums (like this one) from the phone. It says that I have entered the wrong password and username. It happens here and on sites like Facebook. Thoughts on how to get this to work?

Second, my messages and call history are constantly being erased. I have deleted a bunch of stuff and moved a bunch of pictures to my memory card to free up some memory but that isn't helping. Thoughts?

Lastly, my phone keeps on locking up. I understand how it can happen occasionally but once or twice a day is a little much.

Thanks for your help!

Mike

1. Using the 81xx, you need to make certain you are entering the password correctly. Just more difficult on a suretype keyboard.

2. You gotta just do more: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...-logs-sms.html

3. What are you doing when it locks up? What OS is on the device?

passwords are usually multi-tap format. so for the 's' you need to hit the AS key twice

1. The password is entered correctly. I didn't have this problem until I upgraded to the new version 4.3.

2. Found that but it didn't help. I am right around 3000000 free before and after reset. I didn't it again for good measure today and went from 3500000 to 4000000.

3. Nothing usually. I will go to place a call and the phone locks and I can't finish dialing the number.

1. Read the suggestions above. Not all the forum sites changed your PW on your, I am betting you are simply making a mistake in entering it. 4.3 did not change passwords on you.
2. A Filefree of 3.5 to 4.0 MB free space is REAL low.
Clean up more, get a SD Media Card. You will have issues until that is fixed.
3. see 2.

I swear to the Blackberry gods that I am entering the password correctly.

I have an SD card. What is the best way to move pictures to it? Whenever I take a picture it saves it to the card.

Thanks,
Mike

So I farted around with the pictures using the media manager. I (think I) was able to move them all to the card. Now my free bytes = 14273896. I must have moved the pictures around wrong before.

Do you think this will help with it locking up all the time?

I still can't log into forums.

About you're login. okay, you know your password is correct. Is the username correct, letter for letter and with the correct case? I know it's kind of a stupid question but it has to be asked.

And JSanders, sorry for re-stating what was allready in the first post. I've just found that sometimes re-stating the obvious might get someone to try what they might've over looked before. Happens all the time on car forums.

Not a stupid question...and yes it is correct (the username). I tried it again with this forum and no luck. This only started happening after I did the upgrade to 4.3. Do I need to enable something in my browser?

Ok...so I think I figured out the log in issue. My old password had the number "0" in it. I changed the password to not include a "0" and now it works. Previously I never had to hit shift or anything...what could be the problem? When you hit a number it doesn't give you that one second look at what you are typing for your password.

Thanks again,
Mike

Good to hear it is working. Zeros are hell.

@eomund--feel free to state the obvious anytime, again. See how it was the case here for this user.

Ok, I am REALLY sorry to bring this up again but my call history is getting erased AGAIN! I have plenty of File Free 14238685 and when I do the hard restart 14316921. So what's the deal? I have searched and searched before posting this so I hope I haven't missed something.

Is there possibly a setting that deletes the files after a certain date?
