Blackberry 7750 crashed today for no apparent reason; blank screen; could not link up with computer via USB, would not recognize blackberry; took to local Verizon store, Tech service there had no clue; tried to reset, no luck. Any ideas?

The 7750 is about 5 years old. It quite possible that it was just past its time. I would suggest upgrading to a new modern device.
