Default Change company on home screen?

Please Login to Remove!

I currently have the 8700g from T-mobile. I am wondering can I take the "T-mobile" header off of the home screen and change it to something else. If I can't change it to my own personal header is their a way to change it to another cellular company. My phone is about to get the housing changed to the 8700v and I would love for it to say Vodafone instead of T-mobile. Please let me know

Thank You

You can not change that to a personal header. Is you want it to read Vodafone then install the Vodafone OS on the device.

If you install another OS, won't it still have the original company's splash screen when you first start the BB?
BTW NYFashion, that font and color is torture on the eyes.

can you change the power-on splash screen through a BES policy? I'd like to display our company logo instead of the wireless carrier's logo at power-on. this applies to usage of the internet browser as well, which i notice displays the carrier logo during loading times.

Sounds like your going to need a replacement BB if you fool with it. One thing I found on this Forum, take the advice of people who have more time on the Blackberry and let it go.

Mike,

Just curious how you modded to an 8707? I saw that in your signature. Sorry everyone if I digress on the subject.
