Default can not post from WAP site

Please Login to Remove!

Maybe I am missing a setting but I am unable to post on the wap site from my blackberry. The text box is cut off on the right hand side and once you get to the end of the box I can no longer type. There is empty space on to the right so there is plenty of room over there but the for some reason the box is not complete. Any ideas on if this is a setting issue? I did not have this problem before but i swapped out devices and something is not right
Thanks
Kalinka

Even if you re-do it after a battery-pull? That's weird.

I know exactly what you are talking about - I had the same thing on my 8130....but I don't anymore, and I have no idea what happened to make it 'different'. I can now see the full Reply box. The change seemed to co-incide with the server problems we had a few months ago, so I assumed it was site related. Sounds like I just got lucky.

on the browser config i have everything checked then
Show images : on WML &HTML
Emulation Mode : Blackberry
Content mode: WML &HTML

It does seem odd on the posts as well
Some of them are centered and fill the screen and then other posts are squished all the way to the lft of the screen in a very thin column. I did just change devices, it was fine on the other one which is why i thought i had a setting issue

Try this site: http://www.blackberry.com/wap/

When I open the main wap site on my BB and look at the page address, this is what comes up.

My emulation mode is set to Microsoft IE. I also have the following options NOT checked:

ROTF! Its even better if she is a hockey puck girl. A woman with a hockey stick and a blackberry is a force to be reconed with.

Strange My emulation is BB with everything checked. One thing I noticed was when exiting the browser and going back in my password would be there, as not to enter every time I went on. Now since I wipped my BB it won't stay there, I have to logon every time.

I figured out what is going on here. The new pearl that i got as a replacement has a different OS. The original one had v4.3.0.60 and the new one has v4.3.0.97 There are a few noticable changes. The options list for the browser is slightly different, there are some font changes for when the phone is in a call (the phone number of the other party is bold now) and when you put the phone in standby mode you no longer have to scroll to OK.

I think that the problem that I had with the wap site is actually a bug in the new OS because I checked my options list on the old pearl and they are the same as the options that were checked in the new one but the WAP website is distorted like that and you can not post.

Just thought I would post my findings in case anyone else ran into this.

Also the color of the screen is different. It is really reddish and much darker which i dont think that I like as photos are way to dark now. Kind of strange but thats technology for ya

Kalinka
