I don't know what happened. I went to use my phone and on and on the screen it shows, in very small lettering, blockerase6 and reset. This information is in a small box which is centered on the screen. The rest of the screen is white blank. I already tried to remove the battery to reset the system, but it keeps doing the same thing over and over. If you click the wheel while this is on the hour glass comes on like it is trying to reboot but goes right back to the other screen.

Anyone have a fix or an idea as to what is wrong?

Not sure if it will help, but I would try reloading the handheld OS. You might have a 'bricked' BlackBerry on your hands.

Do you mean "bricked" as in fried or smoked?

Possibly. However, you may be able to wipe the device and reload the OS.

My 8830 used to do that sometimes when I used alt+enter to lock the screen. If you hit the enter button from this 'reset' screen, the device may reboot and you will be able to use it.

I upgraded to the latest OS and haven't seen it since then.
