I SO want this app for the Blackberry. Not because I have a particular need for its use, but solely based on the coolness factor alone. (Appears only available for the iPhone at this point.)

I've been playing with this app all morning.
It's amazing. When the translation appears on the screen, I feel like I'm in a sci-fi movie.

With the advent of continuous autofocus on devices such as the torch I would imagine that these kind of apps would become more feasible for BlackBerry.

Sure, it's feasible.
The challenge is getting app developers to adopt the BlackBerry as a viable platform. iPhone and Android are simply killing the BlackBerry as far as apps go. They are light years ahead and I doubt that's going to change any time soon.

uhhhhh.... not the same app.
Word Lens does instant translation in real-time.
You don't need to take a photo, send it off and wait for a translated copy.
