Greetings,

I am wondering if it is ok to use the AC Adapter from older blackberry phones with the newer ones? I had a 7510, and now have aa 8300.

The one that came with the 7510 is 0.5a (i think? I keep this one at home for overnight charging). The one for the 8300 is 0.7a. I was going to keep this on in my backpack.

You should be just fine! Might take a bit longer to charge with the oler charger but that's about it

I've got a bunch of mini USB chargers and they seem to work fine. My numerous chargers for Motorola are also in the .5A range at 5V and no problems using them so far.

The only one I haven't tried is my Garmin charger which has a 1.0A output and 5.9V. Probably wouldn't fry my Curve, but not taking the chance.
