Default Big Time TMO problems

Please Login to Remove!

Has anyone else had a ridiculous number of problems with T-Mobile service recently? I was told that they are in the process of upgrading their data services and have been struggling with new Edge switches, etc. My rep read a memo - "short term pain for long term gain." Is this what they think they should tell their customers??

Half of our users (maybe 20) have been getting either "Out of Service" messages or "SIM Card Error" intermittently. Resetting the device (mostly 7230s) seems to fix the problem for a while. TMO support can't seem to figure out WTF is going on. They've got SIM cards mismatched in their databases... I'm just trying to understand if this is unique to my firm or more common.

Thanks!
Scott

I have been having major problems with incoming calls for the past 4 months!!!!! It's been ridiculous. People call me and never hear a ring. My BB rings, I answer it, and they can't hear me. Usually, I end up having to call everyone back. This is really great for business. Each time I call, CS tells me that my problem is being "escalated." whatever that means. Obviously, it hasn't been straightened out after 4 months. The only reason i haven't switched to Cingular yet is because my bill would virtually double, since I use upwards of 4000 minutes a month. T-Mo has given me a month of free service...whoop-de-do. They ought to try fixing the problem. I am in Miami, BTW, and have switched my SIM from my 7100t to my 7290 to my Moto v600...problem across the board. They have one more month to get it right. I don't care if the service were free, if the calls don't get through, its not much of a bargain.

I'd be willing to bet with those kinds of problems, someone lost their job.

It would be nice if someone at T-Mobile could be threatened with job loss if they couldn't fix this problem...my guess is that it would be fixed in 5 minutes. As for me, I am the boss, so I can't lose my job, but it sure doesn't set a good example for my employees when they can never get a hold of me

I've seen problems and i'm in philly. Most of my users travel and they don't hesitate to let me know about anything. Tmobile killed data service in a 1 mile radius around my house for no reason. It took them about 3 weeks to fix thier issue.

Wow, seems so strange you are having TMobile issues. Compared to Cingular and Verizon, they've been the best. Of course I don't go anywhere exotic, but I'm really happy with the coverage and support I've gotten from them.
