Who's got the YIM 2.0 running on their curve? How do you like it? Worth the hassle of unloading the installed 1.x version and upgrading?

I think it took me a total of 2 mins start to finish to install it. It's definitely worth 2 mins.

My honestly option of Y!IM, it has improved the interface, more selects, photo added, etc from ole Y!IM.

I installed in without any problems. I had more problems installing it on my 8700c but I got it going. The only improvement I saw is interface but I have not really have not used it yet to see if there any other improvements. I do have thank the forums here for the install tips...This place is great!

I installed it on my 8320.

Hmmm only thing different is it looks different. And i'm not too interested in the photo thing. I did however use the "link to address book" which I don't recall being there before. Now if only they did this with AIM.

One thing I will complain is I had to edit the ringers and notifiers for yahoo messenger in all my profiles! grrrrrrr Gosh, I wish all the settings would just save over.

Now it also keeps your current conversations threaded in your Messages, kinda like BBMessenger and Gtalk-- which is a lot easier if you have multiple conversations going at once.
