Default Mac tethering problem with 8820

Please Login to Remove!

I've got an 8820 that I am trying to tether with AT&T. It connects at time for only a few seconds at a time and then nothing. If I pull the battery and restart it I can reconnect again and then only for a few seconds as well.

The only thing I have checking under PPP options is to use verbose logging and I did that based on some advice I found in this board. Any ideas on what my problem may be and why the tethering only works for a few seconds?

Thanks

At least you're getting that far. I'm not even sure what script to use anymore. I found a zip on fibble that had scripts for a bunch of different BB's, so I tried those... No luck.

My company has ETS support with AT&T so I'll call in the next few days as I'll be travelling during the holidays and having internet everywhere would be nice.

I'll let you guys know what I find out from their support.

If you post the verbose log output here, I'll see if I can help.

Leopard changed the way modem scripts are packaged - the new zip file contains a single folder that should work for all GSM BlackBerry models. If you've got verbose log information, post it along with your data settings and I'll see what I can do.

could you tell me how to locate the "verbose log info" that you would need to find out what the problem is.
