Default Leverage AT&T services, Curve and landline?

Please Login to Remove!

I just switched to AT&T and have them for cell and lan line. Is there any way that my home office lan line can notify my wireless Curve that I have a voice mail? So far, besides combined billing that there is no way to leverage cell and my lan line like for voice mail notification.

Do I have this right?

If so, I might bag the lan line voice mail since i have it already on my phone.

Happy Holidays to all.

I don't think you can through AT&T but Yahoo (and others I believe) have some type of service that's even better. I'm not sure where to get it but I've heard advertised where you can have your voice mail through them and not only can they notify you when you have a message they can make an email out of it and send it to you.

Vonage and ViaTalk both offer the type of server you are looking for. They can email you your VoiceMail from your house line and you can listen to it on a computer and most likely your BB. I'm sure any of the newer broadband phone service providers can do this.

Cant dump the lan line. I"m in sales and need a clear clean line since I do conference calls and web ex presentations.

I might dump at&t lan line voice mail since my uniden has a 100min voice mail recorder. I usually hand out my cell phone number anyway, the wave of the future is to have one number to pass out to people to call you.

Anyone use skype?

Thanks for the input....
