Can anyone tell me in a dumbies guide kind of way what the BB mail connector is and how it works.

From what i understand its like redirector but the BIS Equivalent.

Where you have to have your computer on at all times, and your computer acts as the BES.

Am i correct?

You are right Khalil, but today there was a notice from Rim/Blackberry to say that Mail Connector is going to be discontinued on 27th January.

Whats the alternative to this, start/stop mail connector it's easy to deal with. I have no idea on how the BES works.
