Default Question about games and installation

Please Login to Remove!

first off wondering what great freeware games are offered for the 8320.

my bigger question is about installation.
-i have the desktop manager installed
-i have the blackberry plugged in through the usb and the screen is showing that it is connected.
-i have a file "mobireader"
mobireader.alx
/4.2.0/mobireader.cod
/3.7/mobireader.cod

with all three of these files i have tryed installing through the desktop connection manager but with every single one i get and error saying that this file is not specified for my device.

what is the fastest and simplest way to install devices on my blackberry?
am i able to just drag and drop to the media card then go through explorer on the blackberry media to install it?

also for those of you that read my problem with my internet not remembering my login names and passwords, that has been solved by downloading opera mini a FAR greater internet browser may i say.

When you install through the desktop manager, make sure the program is designed for your os version, if you have 4.2.1 or higher, I dont' think a 4.2.0 version will work on it.

And the easiest way to install programs is probably OTA (over the air).

Regarding the error message when you try to install programs via desktop manager, read the following article from BlackberryFAQ:

http://=http://blackberryfaq.com/ind...ckBerryFAQ.com

Once you have installed an OS version on your computer which has the desktop manager, you will be able to load apps. I've brought over some games I used to have on my 8700c which ran 4.1 OS which run fine on my Curve.

What exactly do you mean by install devices?

Do you mean installing applications (OTA versus desktop manager)?
There a method that you can use to install applications from your media card if you have the .jar and .jad files (search the forum for instructions), but that method typically is used as a last resort for those that cannot install OTA and do not have the appropriate .alx/.cod files to install via desktop manager.
