Default Win98 Driver ?

Please Login to Remove!

i realise i'm not going to get desktop manager running, i'm not bothered about that but i want my win98 laptop to see the 8800 as a USB mass stroage devic when i pug it in like it does with XP

is there a driver available ?

Doubtful as WIN98 hasn't been supported in quite awhile now.

Have you called RIM tech support to ask?

Hmmm ... This is the latest Desktop Software with Windows 98 Support. You could try it, I don't think it will work, but would love to be wrong.

Yes but I don't think any of the microSD card capable BB's existed when Win98 was supported.

"Windows 98".... LOL.... sorry but I just had to post.

Now that that's out of my system RIM will not support Win98 for the 88xx devices. Windows 2000 is the minimum.
