Default Pearl is Great!

Please Login to Remove!

I just recently migrated from using a cell/PDA combo to a Pearl, and it's been wonderful. After a few days of mucking around with it, I think I've worked out the kinks (mostly by finding newer firmware) and am able to use it or organize pretty well everything that I'm doing. I was particularly surprised at how smoothly the transition away from my Tungsten E2 has been - my previous experiences supporting BBs at work had me worrying that the switch would be more painful than it was.

Welcome to the group. I agree that the Pearl is a great device. I can't wait until I get a second-generation Pearl.

Something that I'm finding a bit interesting is how quickly at work I'm discovering a 'cult' of Blackberry users. I'm in IT, and thought we only had one user; turns out that there are dozens that just haven't mentioned to us that they have their devices!
