Default 8700G - Help! Wont connect to network

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I've recently purchased an 8700G from ebay - this phone is specifically locked to O2 - which is the network i am on, however, when i get the phone and get my new sim card activated, the blackberry keeps saying 'insert sim card'

O2 have advised me the sim card is fine and has been activated correctly, and now i can't work out what other steps to try in order to get this phone working.

Would it be that the Blackberry is infact faulty?

I am sooooo cross, as i had my original 8700G stolen - hence having to get a new one!!!

Anyhelp is GREATLY appreciated as i feel lost with no blackberry!!!

Thanks

Clair
