is it possible to have someone connect to your device using BT without you knowing it? Reason why i ask is that I was pairing my new headset with my BB in a hotel room and I think i picked up the dude's BB in the next room...cause it showed an 8830 on my screen in addition to my headset. could I have connected to it? Wondering if someone could do that to me.

I thought I might be able to type the universal password and get access.

I think i might have posted this in a moment of hysteria. with the security of the BB, they would have definitely caught that (but the same could be said of microsoft no?)

you have to put the password in on both sides. it will prompt you for the password then prompt him for one as well, if he cancels the connection its done.
