Not sure started from when, the contacts in my BB and my outlook in Exchange server are not synced. Does anyone know what could be possible reason? (calendar/notes are sync fine).
If a contact does not have data in the First Name, Last Name, or Company field, it will not sync. Could that be the case? Distribution lists also will not sync.

go into your address book then menu > options > desktop > make sure wireless sync is turned ON. also contact your BES admin and make sure that wireless sync is ON on the BES side as well.
just to add my 2 pence worth. The contact does not need to have a firstname or last name it also does not need to have a "File As",
All it needs is an email address.
If it does not have an email address field no worrys it if has a fullname with the email address in this will work also.
In order for the contact to sync to wirelessly it needs to be inside the root contacts folder or a subfolder of the root contacts folder. If its outside of these folders the contact will not sync.
Contact sync does not occur straight away. To force the contact. Go into contacts on the blackberry. Go to options set wireless contact sync to no wait 5 minutes and set wirless contact sync to yes.
