my desktop manager is not recognizing my BB. When I plug it in just the file explorer that windows automatically brings up appears. any help? I am trying to use application loader to load a nav program.

If you go up into connection settings does it show your PIN next to the USB port info? Also, what kind of BB do you have? I'm guessing it's not really a 9000. Also, what version of Desktop Manager are you using? Are you plugged into a hub or direct to the pc?

I have the 8310, fo course wanting the 9000! I have only had it for abotu a week, so when I downloaded all the versions they should be the newest ones. I am directly plugged into my lap top. Everythign was rollign fine and then before I went to instal the nav program I read on the forum that I needed to put the OS system on my computer, so I did that. No wwhen I ply my BB into the usb port the desktop manager doesnt recogize it.

soooo..... a simple reboot of computer and phone synced everythign back up! THanks for the help though!
