Total BB newbie.... Is there a Dummy's Guide?
Please Login to Remove!
Ok, so I am completely, 100% new to both the Blackberry and to RIM.
In the past I have been both a Palm and then Windows Mobile user, but my work doesn't support either and recently blocked Active Sync.
They were, however, nice enough to buy me a new Curve Titanium so I get a new toy to play with when it arrives next week.
So, is there a "Dummy's Guide to the Wonder World of Crackberry" out there? Some basic knowledge that will help me transition from my Cingular 8125 to the BB 9310?
Oh, and lest I forget, the two applications I MUST have are an eBook reader and an RSS Reader (Full fuction, displays graphics etc) and could use any advice you care to offer in choosing the best bang for the buck!
Thanks in advance!

I started with this... Stinsonddog's Blackberry Tips. It needs an update, but it helped me...great stuff.

There are several actually, just head to your local bookstore and check it out. I believe the usually put them in the same section as the computer help books.
BTW, it's a small world ezrunner, I am in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Go to Borders, get a cup of joe, find a BB book, read it, put it back, and come back to BBF. Any free time you have not spent on your BB will be spent here in the forums!

Thanks for the tips... I was browsing around the site and the wealth of info here is staggering, and a bit overwhelming considering I don't actually have the phone in hand. I'll bookmark your suggestions so when it DOES arrive, I have the info I need at my fingertips!

No need to buy the book. Just come up on here whenever. Read, search, subscribe, Stinson's Guide, BBFAQ, PM John Clark, JSanders, NJBlackBerry, ThatzMister2u, Sith, Juwaack, Jibi, D_fisher, MrKyoo and all the other Mods etc etc etc. Plus the BlackBerry God is here! No need to find him as he will find you.
Welcome to the forums MC_Preacher!
