hundreds of thousands. I have 12k and it takes just over 3mb. Typical device has 10-30mb free, meaning that you could hold 120k with little problem (without removing parts of the OS). If you remove apps that you dont need/excess parts of the OS, you could get it up to 200k easy.

Yes but to look up that many names could be inconvenient.I have about 600 and am constantly adding and deleting.

To answer the other post i dont use wireless sync i use usb sync with micrsoft outlook.

I had a customer call in one day who worked for Goldman Sachs he had over 30,000 contacts in his phone. I had to wait on the line for his phone to activate on the server and other stuff. Crazy experience I wish that on no tech support rep
