Default Email isn't being pushed

So I'm at a loss now. No email whatsoever is being pushed to my BlackBerry, although it does show up in my BWC. Any ideas? Just call the carrier?

Your BlackBerry might have lost connection with the network. Confirm you have upper case GPRS on your device. Also check the amount of mail in your BWC account. I know on the O2-UK ones you have a 10MB limit, when you hit that limit no more email will be delivered to your BlackBerry (in which case I'd enable the permanent wireless delete option).

Thanks for the help. I sent a message to my blackberry.net address...nothing went through. Sent the service books to the BlackBerry from the BWC site, and I didn't get any confirmation whatsoever that I was re-registered with the network as it said I would. Guess I'll have to call Customer Service tomorrow.

At any rate, I do have a 1X (not 1x) connection to the tower (I use Verizon - CDMA) and the web browsing works fine.

Pretty weird, eh?

EDIT: I also checked to make sure that the BWC settings had the mail going to my PIN/ESN and not some other one.

Might be worth performing a manual registration. Go in to Options > Host Routing table > click the trackwheel and select Register Now. That should update you on the RIM relay. Might not solve anything but it's probably one of those weird little issues!

You can say that again! It was on the charger, and thus, off, so when I turned it on, I got all my messages pushed, including the service books apparently. Sent some test messages and it's all being pushed as it should. Go figure. We'll see tomorrow though if it holds up. Just curious... has stuff like this happened to people before?

I know this sounds silly but you might want to check your filters in the web client. Make sure you have, "Forward messages to handheld" set. Also make sure your mailbox isn't full.

Aviationwiz - where are you at? I am in Phoenix and I also am not getting any email on my device. We are on a BES and are in the process of resetting it. Anyway I don't think you are crazy. I will post again when we find out whats going on.

Resetting the BES fixed the problem here.
