I gave my old Pearl (which was unlocked) to my GF when I get my Curve. I was on ATT at the time and had my email set up on it. Yesterday we went to T-Mobile to get the Pearl activated for her and to get my Curve moved over from ATT. I deleted all my data off the Pearl but my email is still there and Im not sure how to get it off. Ive logged into her BIS on the tmo site and resent her service books but the icon is still on her desktop. How do I remove it from her phone?

Delete the email (topmost recent date bar > Menu > Delete prior) , then go to Options > Advanced > Service Books, and delete your old service book indicated by your email address.

EDIT - Deleting the service books then doing a battery pull fixed it. Thanks!

You should be able to ask them to release the PIN from your old account as well, even if you don't have the account now. Tell them you are selling the device and need the PIN released.

It was removed from the phone and my email works just fine on t-mobile. Do I really need to do that?
