I recently upgraded to 4.0.2.32 and Tasks seems to have a bug that was not previously there.
If you filter Tasks by a category and then create a new task, modify an existing task, or mark it completed, it seems that the category filter is remains set, but no items appear under the category filter until the category filter is refreshed.
Anyone else experiencing this? Is this 7100t specific? Anyone know how I put in a bug report to RIM? I tried their website, but they didn't seem to list any technical support contact information that was easy to find.
T-mobile. I just checked their website and the latest version is still 4.0.2.32. I guess I'll have to wait for T-mobile to validate or whatever they do with 4.0.2.39. Thanks.

Its very doubtful T-Mobile will be updating anytime soon. They were the first to release 4.0.0.198 and never updated their code to the version that Cingular and Rogers released. Then they came out of nowhere and released the 4.0.2.32 version. I'm guessing that camerch is testing internally for Cingular (or Cingular will be posting the download to their downloads here shortly). Once its available, you can update your handheld to the latest Cingular OS, even if you have a T-Mobile phone.

I have the same problem since the upgrade (using T-Mo 7290).
Worked fine before the upgrade, which I did about a week ago. Since then, a category of tasks displays normally (filtered) until you edit one of those tasks. After you edit one or mark it complete, you get a message saying *no tasks* (as if you have an empty task list) until you exit completely and return to the task app.
Haven't figured out how to fix, but will follow up if I find anything.
Sadness. I just upgraded to 4.0.2.49 which does not fix the problem. This is which despite being a version after 4.02.39 which has been reported to have the fix for Cingular.
Perhaps the last two posters were talking about the same thing, but it was hard to tell without any reference to version.
It may not be RIM's fault, as camerch has stated above that Cingular fixed the issue in 4.0.2.39, and presumably if RIM fixed it in 4.0.2.39, it would have propagated to 4.0.2.49.
I'm gonna harass T-Mobile about it, and I hope you and others do the same. Hopefully, we can generate enough noise that they'll fix it.
Well, this is months old now, but I did say if ever I found it to be fixed, I would report back. I am very happy to report that I recently upgraded to 4.1 on my 7105t and this seems to have resolved the problem!
So I tried the upgrade and it seems to fix the problem. I do still get the filtered by category but nothing shows up condition in rare instances. It seems to be associated with switching to the Tasks application after taking the BB out of the holster sometimes. A minor annoyance, tho'.
