Default Thinking of returning to Blackberry - OS 4.5 Question

Please Login to Remove!

I'm not real happy with my WM6 phone. I miss the speed of the blackberry.

That said, I need to be able to upload and open/edit office documents (word and excel mostly).

Will this be possible on 4.5? If I recal, the only way to do this on my old blackberry was via email attachment... but since I need to be able to actually upload files, this didn't help me before.

Thanks for the info!

4.5 comes with a very basic DocstoGo. You would be able to do the the necessary Word and Powerpoint editing. Storing a new doc on the sd card will allow for Creating a new doc (Save As another name when done). DocstoGo premium will allow for the full suite.

Running 4.5 and it does allow you to use docs to go. But it is the standard edition meaning you can read only and not create unless you upgrade to the Premium editon.. The speed up of the USB was actually part of 4.3 and it does make a big difference on the loading and moving of media files.

You can create new documents by saving a new document to your device from Word or Excel. Then to create a new document just open the new document saved on your BB, edit it, and then save as.
