Default Syncing with a mac

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All
I was really happy to get my Blackberry until I pugged it into my MAC. I was sold it by t-mobile saying that syncs fine with mac's I should have come here first. It is soooooo frustrating. I have a pearl 8110, and cannot sync it with my mac. I have got pocketmac and the missing sync, neither work. I am running OSX 10.4.11 on a macbook pro 15'. Please help or i feel like i will be the first person arrested for blackberry strangulation.

Need more info. What happens when you try to sync?

I have been syncing my Curve with a Mac smoothly. I use Missing Sync - it is unfortunately not free, but a super solution for us Mac users.

I have had no problems synching my Pearl 8120 with Missing Sync. What happens when you attempt to synchronise? How are you connecting the two devices?

People have had mixed results. I have an iMAC but am running the same version of OS X as your MBP. I tried PocketMac first - although the program would run and recognize my 7130, it would not sync whatsoever. Within just a few minutes I DL'ed Missing Sync (paid version), and it worked like a charm.

Best of luck,
Mike

no issues with pocket mac on 10.4 or 10.5 on my 8130. i did notice when i had mass media mode turned on by default it would occasionally freak out. now i leave my pearl in ask mode and never confirm or just select no.

so try either turning mass media mode off or on ask
