This is more of a carrier question but Im sure you guys can handle it.

Ive used BBs for a while now with t-mobile and ATT and love it. Im currently use ATT with my curve but my new job requires me to switch to verizon. I realize verizon has a lot of restrictions and a lot of the standard features will be different. So Im just wondering what changes I could expect. Will I still be able to use RIM and aftermarket software with verizon?

Edit: I donxxx8217;t want this to turn into a "lets bash verizon" thread. Im just inquiring about the major differences with the carriers using the same phone.

You need to use the VZNavigator for GPS. That's all I can think of...

Ya gps is the major thing you will lack on the Verizon model unless you pay $10/month for theirs.

There have been no important third party apps I couldn't use on my verizon curve.

Gos as said above. Blipsocial, a beta threaded sms prig, and a couple others are bot able to be used.
Gps is the main issue because any program that attempts to utilize the gps just fails. The ones I have tried have not caused any malfuunctions like reboots or freezing just fails to locate you.
Googlr Maps uses cellular triangulation instead of GPS, but it works sufficiently.
