Default Hs-655+

I'm looking for a replacement for my HS-655 which broke. It had an annoying problem where I would answer a call and there would be no audio, even though it appeared to be connected. Apparently that issue is not uncommon.

I liked the sound quality of the HS-655 and the way it stayed in my ear, but because of this problem, I was going to switch to another headset. I tried a Jabra BT8040 but I'm not happy with it so I'm back to the HS-655+. Does anyone know if the connection problem is due to the bluetooth software on the phone or if it's a headset problem? If it's the latter, has it been fixed in the HS-655+? What other changes are on the HS-655+ WRT the HS-655?

I have the new 655+, (thanks Horizon Wireless) and I have not had this problem at all. Sound quality is great, it stays in my ear nicely, I can be heard very clearly on the other end. I didn't have the 655, so not really sure what else is new, but like I said it always stays connected.

I had the original HS655, and had exactly the issue you're talking about. I just got a new Plantronics 925 a few days ago, and so far am loving it. The reports from callers who had listened to me often on the HS655 are that I sound much better and clearer, with less background noise with the 925, even when in noisy environments. I'd recommend it as a good replacement for your 655, as its been for mine.

I picked up an HS-655+ yesterday. It works fine. Audio is clear with no static. It will be interesting to see if it has the same bad behaviour as the HS-655...

bimmerdriver, Did the HS-655+ have the same issue with connecting as the HS-655 did?

Have the HS-655+ here no connectivity issue other than when the battery dies

I'm happy with it. It's much more reliable than the old headset.
