Default I love my 8 gig card

Please Login to Remove!

i switched from my 4 gig to the 8 gig i recived from newegg for 44 bucks shipped in 3 days. the usb memory reader is so much faster than hooking the bb up. i transfered 1.7gb in less than 2 minutes. a big thumbs up to sandisk. BTW i was worried about the 8gig card being slower but the curve reads and writes so slow it doesent matter.

Do you know if I would be able to use the same one for my T-Mobile Curve? Could you provide the link to this memory card?

I believe you can use the 8gb card with OS 4.5+

go to newegg.com and select flash memory. you can get an 8gb Micro SDHC card for $36 + Shipping.

i was under the impression that only a max of 2GB would work in the blackberry 83XX series. Is that not true?

Fast enough that it's worth removing the battery and card from the BB and then re-installing them? For me I don't think that's possible, since I'm using an Otterbox case. :(

to put a movie that was 470 megs from computer to blackberry it took 8 minutes around a meg a second. on the usb microdrive it took less than a minute. now if you were transfering a gig or 2 it would be a no brainer.

No. Look at the top of the message list in this forum for the stickies. Find the one titled "Latest OS: 83XX ...." where 83XX is the specific model for your phone.
