Default Copy address Book from old PHone

Please Login to Remove!

I purchased a Blackberry Curve 8330 from Verizon. I took it to the Verizon store to copy the address book from an old flip phone (LG3400 I think). They told me they couldn't copy the contacts because they were unable to write to memory.

They told me if we were on a BES, which we are, that would prevent the copy. I think I have done this before with a diffenent Blackberry, but still on the same BES.

I was told this was something in the IT Policy, but I have not set such a restriction.

Has anyone else experienced this, or know how to get around it?

How were they trying to copy the address book?

if you used bitpim you can export you address book and then import into your address book on your computer and then sync that with your BB. I had to use pocketmac for that.
