is there anyway to add a signature to text messages? i kno how to add one to my emails but i have no idea where to start with this issue

You can't add an auto-signature to text messages on the BlackBerry.
You may be able to use the autotext feature as a workaround.

The only way I've discvered to add a signature line is:
1. Go to options
2. Scroll to owner
3. Under Information type in what you want your signature line to be.

When sending a text, at the end of your comments type " the letters "s-i-g" (no hypens) then space. Waalaa

That's actually a good idea, if you don't need info on your main screen.

I tend to always put my contact information in case a good person were to find it if it were lost. So wouldn't work for me, but I can see this workaround working for others.

I have several sigs in my autotext according to what I want in the sig: homesig (with my home address/phone), officesig (with my office address/phones), etc.
