Default Please Help me with my calendar!!!

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded Pocket Day trial. I was not overly impressed so I removed it through the Desktop manager, The calendar now runs SUPER SLOW. it takes about 2 minutes to pull up my calendar reading "Organizing Calendar" while I'm waiting. It is really annoying. I can't find any posts regarding a slow calendar etc. Any ideas?? Is there a hard reset?

Have you tried removing the battery while the device is powered on, waiting 30 seconds, and then re-inserting the battery?

Yes. I tried that a few times. Is it possible since I have 5 email accounts the device is reading this as 5 calendars?? It just seems as if the device is getting hung up like an old computer on ME.
I'm also willing to wipe the entire device clean, since all I have to do is sync with outlook to restore most if not all of the data, and the email should be outomatically updated through the BIS.

OK, although I do enjoy the forum I seem to be more of a lurker and like to read the questions and responses. But when I do have a valid question I post it & I am consistently left to my own devices. I'm not sure why, as I said in my past posts I do shower. What gives?? I can't believe that I constantly stump everyone.
Anyway, I figured out the best way to correct this problem & I wanted to share (especially for my fellow lurkers). I chose a hard reset (wipe the device clean), send service books, pair my bluetooth connections, sync and change the settings for ringer, speed dial, etc... A little more work than I needed but the result is worth it. The only thing that gave me a bit of a a scare was I did not pull my SD card prior to wiping the device... fortunately everything (songs, photos, etc) is still there (that would have been a royal pain).
Thank you djm2 for your input.
So I'm off, back to my hole... good thing I wasn't drowning.

Sometimes it takes time for someone to answer the questions on here. Believe me this is a great place to learn and get help. You will not lose anything on your memory card when you do a wipe. Usually a hard reset will fix most problems; I am not familiar with Pocket day so I can't tell you exactly what happened. I have used Outlook for years so I like the calendar and address book aps on the BB.

I am happy that you were able to get the issue resolved with a wipe.

Let me echo the comment about generally receiving help. I suspect that your problem required a Pocket Day user to chime in, and that of course is a somewhat specialized program.

Feel free to chime in yourself on a few issues, and welcome.

I didn't take it personal. Since this wasn't the 1st time it's happened, I wanted to make sure that maybe I didn't offend someone by not following some proper etiquette. Thank you again guys. Back to my hole.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I certainly didn't detect even a hint of an etiquette breech. I would banish those thoughts from your mind, and assume that the issue was a lot of people saying to themselves, "Jeez, I wonder what's causing that!"
