I setup a profile for my girlfriends number, sms and email alerts and have an exception for her. I've used it regularly and it works great. problem is when anybody else calls and leaves a voicemail the generated sms alert for that vm comes through as her sms tone. i set profile to "quiet" before bed and i don't mind being awakened by a text from my gf, but when it's a buddy leaving a message at 2am i get a little annoyed. I'm not sure why the VM sms is coming through as her profile and not as my regular sms alert which should be under "quiet" profile. anybody have any ideas about this?

usually it always has the same tone for all voicemails. I don't think you can isolate it by sender...

And see if you can change it that way. But it seems like you've already done all of this.

Aren't voicemails Level 1 messages?

i believe you are right, but it's using the exception SMS tone, not the selected profile SMS tone

update: deleted GF's profile, then created new. for two days the VM alert used the active profile, then back to VM's using her text alert again. battery pulls don't help have to delete her profile and re-add every time.
