Yes, I understand that, but all OS files are exe, not msi
So I don't understand why this is looking for that file. I found a RIM article with the exact same issue, just a different file name (blackberry.msi in the article) I followed the advice on how to fix this (registry hack) and it appeared to work. Now when the user activates the desktop manager, there is a pop up that flashes by really fast (it looks like an installation message) and continually does this until the desktop manager is closed.
Has anyone seen this before?
I might add that the desktop manager appears to function fine otherwise.
