Where is the "ALT" button?
Please Login to Remove!
Anyone figure out where the alt button is on the storm wanted to delete the logs to free up memory since the system is lagging a little?

No alt button. Bring up a keyboard, lock the '123' key (just hold it down for a few seconds) and type ,5,5
That will bring you to the event log and you can delete it from there.

So I guess you can't reboot it using the Alt-Cap-Del press?
Any other shortcuts for rebooting it?

Without the "alt" key...anyone figure out how to use the save searches without going through all the menus.
For example: Alt "P" (on the curve) would bring up all messages from a particular person.

Hold your finger over the person's name and it will search for all messages from that person.

Thanks!
That will help but what I really want is to separate my work email (BES) from my personal mail (BIS) . They all load under "messages". My personal mail boxes have individidual icons so I can isolate those, but there's no way (that I can see) to view only my work email at a glance.

To the best of my knowledge this doesn't work. However, the same steps but "/"/ I know for a fact works. Also, 2*92 brings up the Help screen that on other devices you enter Alt + E A C E to get to.

This search feature is pretty cool! You can search by subject as well.

The messages folder will show all messages that have come in for all accounts. With that said, your BIS accounts should have a folder of its own on the phone for each account you activate. I get my Storm tomorrow but on my 8703 I have one main messages folder three separate folders for my three BIS accounts.

I'm with you...and I used the saved searches to create one "view" for my work email. That's what I'm looking for.
I want to be able to view my work email (only) without having my personal email interspersed...
So how do I view only BES email in one view is my goal on the storm.

,5,5 does work, in portrait mode. I've used it a couple of times already. Thanks for the Help Screen one.

When you are in MESSAGES application, click MENU then select VIEW FOLDER, switch to the folder you want to look at specifically?

How does one see what apps are running? On the Pearl it's Atl+back, keep holding Alt.

Hold down the BB Menu key. Or set one of the convenience keys to run the Application Switcher.

Yes, for all four of my email accounts there is a separate folder for each, this is in addition to the Messages folder, something I'm glad was incorporated to easily separate my mail.
